Welcome back to the new school year. Staff have been back for a few days planning and preparing for the arrival of students, yesterday demonstrated the work which has been done as students transitioned back into school life smoothly. As I walked around the school there was a buzz of excitement as students began working to establish new routines and expectations.
This year we have several new staff arrive at Exeter Primary School and we welcome them to our team. We look forward to working and learning from them as we continue to grow our teaching and learning practices to ensure that the students at Exeter have the best learning opportunities possible.

- Sally Fisher (Kinder)
- Sara Lockwood (Prep)

Validation Forms
Validation forms were sent home yesterday. It is vital that these are completed and returned to the school office by next Friday, February 12. As a school community we need to ensure we have up to date and accurate information for the wellbeing of our students.
COVID-19
As a school community we are still following current health advice and requirements around hygiene and physical distancing.
Schools will continue to:
- Adopt strict hand washing protocols
- Limit personal contact
- Remind students to sneeze and cough into their elbow and to cover their mouth and nose
- Regularly cleaning hard surfaces in classrooms and throughout the school
- Enforce social distancing between adults
From next week we will be opening our external water fountains for students to access. We will follow current health advice and they will be regularly cleaned.
Kind Regards,
Exeter Primary School Association
