Welcome back to the last term of the year! I trust everyone had a relaxing and restful holiday and are ready for the busyness Term presents.
As a school we are busy planning end of year excursions, activities, and assemblies through the lens of COVID-19 requirements. We are very mindful to ensure that we celebrate in the best way possible with the inclusion of as many family members. However, there are still Department of Health requirements and obligations that need to be considered. Please keep an eye out for any information that is sent home or published through our communication channels and return all forms to the office as soon as possible.
Class Placement Requests
We are in the process of organising staff and classes for 2022. If you have any relevant information about your child we need to consider during this process, we ask that you put this in writing for our consideration. Additional information may include:
- Academic support
- Social / emotional needs
- Behaviour support
Please be aware that requests for teachers will not be considered. I ask that this information is provided to me in writing via email to zachary.taylor@education.tas.gov.au by the end of week 4, Friday November 5.
If your child is not returning to Exeter Primary School in 2022 please let us know. If you know of any 4-year-old children in the area who have not enrolled in Kinder please encourage them to give us a call.
Kind Regards,

Communication Survey
We are looking at ways to best support our families to communicate with staff between home and school. We would like as many families as possible to complete the short survey as soon as possible to assist staff to plan for setting up teachers with appropriate systems for 2022.
We hope to make the communication between home more efficient and help make stronger connections with all families. Please know this is an anonymous survey that should only take 5 minutes to complete. Please ensure all responses are made before Friday 22 October to ensure your views are taken into consideration.

Halloween Disco
Enrolments are now open for Kindergarten in 2022. If your child was born in 2017 they are eligible to attend our current Pre-Kindergarten program. Sessions are held in the Kindergarten room and are facilitated by Mrs Sally Fisher. Participation in these sessions assists children to become comfortable and confident to start school, helping them transition well into Kindergarten. Sessions are held once a week every Friday, 9:00am - 10:15am or 1:30pm- 2.45pm.
If you have not received enrolment forms for 2022, please contact the school office to request enrolment forms. We look forward to meeting all of our Kindergarten families for 2022 and working together to build a strong connection between home and school.
