Mr Taylor, Mrs Simpson and the office staff have started calling families about explained absences (non-consecutive) of five days or more which aligns with the Department for Education, Children and Young People’s (DECYP) expectations.

As stated previously, if your child is absent for 5 or more days, a Doctor’s Certificate or a Statutory Declaration must be provided for our records. Statutory Declarations are available at the Office.
