From the Principal

Term 4 is well underway, and it’s been a fantastic start as students have quickly settled back into their learning routines. Now, we just need the weather to cooperate!
The final term of the school year is always a special time. It’s when we reflect on the past twelve months and celebrate the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. It’s a rewarding period filled with reflection, celebration, and pride in the journey each student has taken.
School Attendance Challenge
Let’s kick some attendance goals!
We’re setting a goal of 92% attendance rate and we need you on the team!
We know that every school day matters and Exeter Primary School wants to make sure every school day counts towards our students' bright lives and positive futures. We all play a part in helping our kids get to school every day and for the month of November we are kicking for attendance goals.
There’s so much potential in a single school day, imagine what can happen in a whole month! Join us for pizza lunch, (and maybe a swim in our school pool!)

Enrolments 2026
We understand that family circumstances can change. If your child will not be returning to Exeter Primary School in 2026, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible.
Planning for the 2026 school year is already underway, and accurate enrolment numbers are essential. They help guide decisions around staffing, budgeting, and class structures. Early notification allows us to make informed choices that best support our students and school community.
Community Event – Children’s Week Celebration
The organising committee—West Tamar Council, Tresca, and Exeter Primary School—were thrilled with the success of last Friday afternoon’s event, marking the beginning of Children’s Week 2025. It was heartening to see families enjoying the wide range of engaging activities on offer.
The event highlighted the strong partnerships and vibrant community spirit of the West Tamar region. It also provided a wonderful opportunity for young people to explore future pathways in sport, dance, and music.
We are sincerely grateful for the support of the following organisations:
Beaconsfield Child and Learning Centre, Riverside Olympic Soccer Club, Tamar Demons Football Club, Tamar Jets Netball Club, Exeter Cricket Club, West Tamar Dance Academy, West Tamar Band, Super Silly Us Circus, Active Children’s Tas, Kaz – Face Painting, Marcelles Entertainment, Exeter Primary School Association, Famished Food Co.
